About our winery:
School House Winery is a quaint, historical, one-room schoolhouse located in Dover, Ohio, within minutes from Amish Country.
Enjoy our beautiful building, relaxing setting and award winning wines any time of year. Sit outside and enjoy our pound, or sit inside for a cozy, but fun environment. Visit for a relaxing evening or bring a group of friends for an exciting evening out.
With over 17 Building 6 Wines to choose from, we have something for everyone. Come visit our boutique winery and find out why is was named "Ohio's Most Unique Winery."
Three things to love about us:
We are a unique and beautiful setting only 2 miles off the highway. We have 17+ wines to choose from, so we really have something for everyone. And we have a light menu of appetizers, pizzas and subs. Perfect for a winery trip.
What makes us unique:
School House Winery was built in 1886 as a one-room schoolhouse called Oak Grove School #6. They had class in the schoolhouse until 1941, and the schoolhouse and surrounding property were sold to a private owner after the closing of the school. The property was purchased in 2007 by Dave and Jennifer Jagunic and the winery was opened in 2009.
We currently have 9 award-winning wines with 13 total awards.
