About our winery:

Welcome to Graziano Family of Wines. Our wines are handcrafted with history, heritage and care in Mendocino County. They are consistently full-bodied, uniquely flavored and finely balanced. Specializing in classic Italian and unique old world varietals, our wines are being recognized at pinnacles in America winemaking. Discover our passion in every bottle.Current labels for the Graziano Family of Wines are Saint Gregory, Monte Volpe, Enotria and Graziano. The four labels are crafted to preserve each variety\'s integrity by employing time honored Old World cellar practices perfected by the gentle application of modern technology.

Three things to love about us:

Gregory Graziano\'s grandfather, Vincenzo Graziano, and his wife Angela, immigrated to America and to eventuall find their way to Mendocino County where they started growing grapes and making wine. They first planted vineyards in Mendocino County in 1918. In the late 1920\'s Vincenzo had to depend on selling grapes to home winemakers on the east coast and bootlegging wine to support his family. In the 1940\'s after Prohibition and the Depression, Vincenzo, along with other local grape growers, formed the Mendocino Vineyards Winery, which eventually was sold and merged into the historically significant Cresta Blanca Winery in the town of Ukiah.Greg’s father, Joseph Graziano, later followed in his father’s footsteps and worked in the family vineyard operation.Like his family before him Gregory Graziano, Vincenzo\'s grandson, now carries on the family winemaking tradition that his grandfather set the foundation for and that his father Joseph later handed down to Gregory. To this day he is still carrying on the family tradition...

What makes us unique:

The Graziano family is one of the oldest grape growing families in Mendocino County. Greg’s cousins Eddie Graziano and Gil Tournour, manage two separate parcels of the original Vincenzo Graziano Vineyard in Calpella. These vineyards contain original plantings by Vincenzo Graziano of Carignane and Moscato. Newer plantings of Zinfandel and Charbono grace these unique white Pinole clay loam soils. Some of these grapes are utilized by Greg and his Graziano Family of Wines. To carry on this tradition of grape growing, Greg and his wife Trudi have planted two small vineyards. One is located in the eastern hills above the Ukiah Valley, Bella Vista Vineyard, where the rare Aglianico from Southern Italy is grown along with several acres of olive trees which contain the Italian varieties Croatina, Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino, Moraiolo and Pendolino.
