About our winery:
The Ghost Rock label was launched by Cate and Colin Arnold in 2001, and quickly established itself as a multi-award winning vineyard.
The wines are produced in small quantities from grapes grown on 16 hectares of vines. The original vineyard established in 1989 was one of the first to be planted in this coastal region of northern Tasmania.
The region’s fertile soil teamed with a southern coastal climate creates the perfect environment for cool climate wines that boast unique varietal character.
New plantings continue to expand the Ghost Rock range, with more vines going in during 2015.
‘Hundred Acres’ is Ghost Rock Vineyard’s latest venture, The million dollar development will be a leader in both food and wine, with facilities to compete with boutique vineyards around the world. The Interpretation Centre and Winery enables Ghost Rock to distill their award winning wines onsite as well as allowing visitors to have the ‘paddock to plate’ experience.
Three things to love about us:
All grapes are hand picked
Wines are made and bottled on site in new state of the art winery
Multiple awards won both for Ghost Rock's wines and it's cellar door.
