Geyser Peak is one of California’s most highly awarded wineries and recipient of “Winery of the Year” an unprecedented nine times. Founded in 1880 as California’s 29th bonded winery, Geyser Peak has been at the forefront of quality wine production for over 135 years. Located in Dry Creek Valley, Geyser Peak is carrying the winery’s rich history forward and staking an exciting claim on the future. Our wines capture the essence of Sonoma and the appellation’s unique terroir, offering sophistication and approachability, and taking us from casual days to connoisseur nights.
Wine should enhance every day moments and at Geyser Peak, our winemakers strive to produce approachable wines to be enjoyed by both aficionados and novices alike. We craft wines that reflect their point of origin while combining traditional Old World methods with New World innovations. Fruit for the wines is sourced from Sonoma County and other premium winegrowing regions throughout California with each vintage showcasing the team’s steadfast commitment to crafting quality wines that impress and give everyone a reason to celebrate any day. Visit our tasting room for a Premier, Reserve, or Charcuterie Board wine pairing daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

What makes us unique:
Geyser Peak’s winemaking philosophy is the same today as it was more than a century ago – create top quality wines of distinction. We combine traditional Old World practices with New World innovations. Throughout our history we have sought out emerging techniques and winemaking processes; testing, evaluating and elevating our craft to perfect wines from grapes grown in the Sonoma County and other premium regions of California.
Geyser Peak consistently garners some of the most prestigious awards in winemaking, including Winery of the Year and Winemaker of the Year honors. Our winemaking has long been recognized for being fruit-forward, food-friendly, and approachable – perfect for enhancing daily moments. Our new visitor center is the gateway to both the Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley Appellations. Just minutes outside downtown Healdsburg, stop in for a picnic on the sunny back deck nestled in a lush garden setting. We invite you to visit and enjoy the Geyser Peak experience for yourself.
