4th of July is the most popular Summer holiday of the year and with it comes celebration and day-long fun. With the weather at its peak for the year, friends and families spend the day outside eating, drinking, and celebrating. A common tradition for many is to spend the afternoon, whether it’s at the beach, park, or just at someone’s house, barbecuing up a great meal. A classic meal might include smoky bbq’d meats such as chicken or steak, maybe some burgers and hotdogs, or some fish tacos providing freshness to beat the heat. On top of that maybe some potato salad and other light sides to keep the merriment going all throughout the afternoon, finishing off the evening with a classic American apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Of course this day of indulgence wouldn’t be complete without some great wine pairings!
