So get ready for your weekend picnic or BBQ by packing any (or all) of these six outstanding Rosés . Cheers!

1. Chateu Léoube, Secret De Léoube (Provence, France)

Here’s a secret worth discovering. In a beautiful screen-printed bottle, the Secret of Léoube is a delicate Rosé wine which presents floral notes on a back of exotic fruits. As an elegant blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Cabernet, it’s soft mouthfeel and superb aroma make it perfect for soaking in sun-filled days with friends

2. Blankiet Estate, Prince of Hearts Rosé (Napa, California)

In 1996 with the single vision of producing world class wines, Claude and Katherine Blankiet ushered in the estate’s vineyard, suitably named Paradise Hills. The land is bathed with morning sun and benefits from natural shade in the hot afternoons – a combination that has created what Robert M. Parker deems “one of the best Rosé I have ever tasted.” A uniquely made wine from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, cold fermented in 100% new French barrels and aged for a year prior to bottling. It seems Claude and Katherine’s vision has certainly been accomplished.

3. Chateau, D’Esclans, Whispering Angel (Provence, France)

Whispering Angel is inspired by the two cherubs found in a chapel on the grounds of Caves D’Esclans, dating back to the early 19th century. The grapes are grown from some of the most choice land in the surrounding region of La Motte en Provence, consisting primarily of Grenache, Rolle (Vermintino) and Cinsault.

4. Lazy Creek Vineyards, Rosé of Pinot Noir (Sonoma, California)

Beautiful pale pink in color, the 2015 Lazy Creek Vineyards Rosé of Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley is a light, delicious Rosé. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, this wine has fresh, delicate aromas and flavors of rose petal, pink grapefruit, fresh strawberries and orange creamsicle with creamy peach and berry on the mid-palate balanced by lemon zest on the lively, crisp finish.

5. Mirabeau, Pure Rosé (Provence, France)

Pure Mirabeau hails from some of the highest vineyards in the Côtes de Provence. Very pale in color, with a hint of salmon weaving through, this delicate Rosé first presents notes of strawberry followed by raspberries, white cherries and finally the elegant rhubarb. Its crisp acidity and generous fruit combine to create an element of texture that enables this Rosé to be enjoyed as an aperitif as well as with food.

6. Chêne Bleu, Rosé (Provence, France)

The unusual terroir found at the Chêne Bleu vineyards, provide a mixture of complex clay and limestone soil – creating a stress on the grape which results in a superb quality of resulting wine. Case in point, their Rosé is a finely textured, complex Syrah-Grenache blend. It is made in a multi-step process relying on skin contact and a short maceration in order to reveal the full texture and character of the grape variety. Bright with strong salmon pink color hues, this Rosé offers hints of tangerines and papayas on the nose, with tastes of red Summer fruit on the palate. Well-structured and complex, its crisp acidity makes it ideal for enjoying with grilled seafood and summer salads.
